"Yeah, I'm not interested in that kind of music either," he said, marking his drink order; strawberry soda, and handed the menu to Fujiwara. "I prefer pop. And classic rock. Idol stuff. The classic rock I got into because of my team captain. He liked to play it on his guitar when we hung out."

He reached over and grabbed the book. "Okay, so you find the song you want, and there's going to be a number next to it. You put that number into the computer there." He pointed out the little computer and scooted over to it, putting in the code for his song, but not entering it just yet. It was his go-to karaoke song and he had it memorized.

It was probably a good idea that he go first. That way Fujiwara would get an idea of how things worked here. "Alright," he said, beaming and hit the enter button. And his song came up. A popular idol song with a peppy beat. He took the microphone and began to sing. He was animated while he sang his heart out, dancing along, not even looking at the screen where the words were displayed, another sign that he had memorized this song.
