"Money is a good motivator," he notes. "Though, I suppose I am going into this knowing it won't be likely that I'll have a very steady career. My parents would prefer if I followed into their fields for some peace of mind and stability."

He scratches at his cheek. "I'd like to get good at English to follow everyone's NBA careers, but I also believe it would be a useful asset in any job I choose to pursue."
