Brothers and Hot Pot
Osamu walked into the restaurant and scanned the tables to see if his brother had shown up early. He hadn’t, but Osamu wasn’t surprised. He spoke with the hostess and was brought to a table in the back.
He liked this little hot pot place. It was quiet, close to his apartment, and cheap. Cheap was good because most of the money he made was going into his business. He loved Onigiri Miya, and while it paid the bills, it wasn’t paying for much else yet. It would. Food was his passion, and he made great onigiri with great ingredients.
But sometimes he missed having free time. Which was one of the reasons he jumped at the chance to have dinner with Atsumu. Especially when the other offered to pay, if only to buy his silence.
Osamu was contemplating texting his brother to rag him about being late, even though he was only a minute late, when he saw him walk in. He waved to get his attention.
